A young patient with advanced periodontal disease – a disease that affects everything around the tooth (periodontium), including the gum, bone, and ligament. End-stage dentition in the upper jaw and two missing teeth in the lower jaw.

He was looking for a quick solution that would restore his chewing function and aesthetics.

Main Symptoms

  • Difficulty chewing
  • Changes in the remaining dentition
  • Lack of confidence and self-esteem

Treatment

Four implants were placed in the upper jaw for immediate rehabilitation with a fixed prosthesis and two single implants in the lower jaw. This rehabilitation allowed the patient to have his smile back on the same day, in less than 24 hours.

To ensure a harmonious smile, in-office bleaching of the lower jaw dentition was also performed.
