Porcelain Veneers

The fastest way to get the smile you've always wanted!

If you are uncomfortable smiling because of a chipped, misaligned or darker tooth, dental veneers are the solution you are looking for.

Dental Veneers are ultra-thin, strong caps that adhere to the front surface of the tooth. They fuse completely with the tooth enamel, allowing you to quickly change the color, shape, orientation, and even length of your smile. They are designed and engineered specifically for the needs of each smile.

Because they are extremely thin (0.2 to 0.5 millimeters) they are also known as Dental Contact Lenses. They allow you to completely change your smile easily and in just a few appointments – usually, only 2 to 3 visits to our Clinic are required.

They are super-thin, but also super-resistant. At Ruy Garcia Clinic we only work with Porcelain Veneers, the most durable material on the market. A long-term solution for a more beautiful and aesthetic smile.

Diagnosis and Treatment Plan

It all starts with the Evaluation Consultation. Explain to us your expectations. Then we’ll take a series of impressions, impressions, and X-rays to ensure that dental veneers are the right solution for your smile. You can also take this time to ask questions and get all your doubts answered.

Preparation

After the dental molds are made in the office, they are sent to the laboratory that will produce the veneer. The production usually takes 2 weeks. During this time you can use a temporary resin veneer, if necessary.

Application

On the day of the veneer application, we start by testing it on your smile, still with temporary glue. If it meets your expectations and the team’s expectations, we proceed to the tooth preparation. The tooth surface is then reshaped, with almost no enamel wear. The veneer is then placed, blending perfectly with the tooth for a natural, harmonious smile.

If the veneer does not fully match the needs of the smile it is returned to the lab, where it is adjusted before final application.

    FAQs

What is the difference between veneers and crowns?

Dental crowns cover a tooth as if it were a "hat", covering the tooth and allowing the restoration of chewing function, tooth shape, and smile aesthetics.

Veneers, on the other hand, are ultra-thin, millimeter-long covers applied on the front surface of the tooth to change its color, shape, or position.

    Will I feel pain?

No. Placing one or more veneers is completely painless.

What are the main advantages of veneers?

Fast results in a few appointments, almost zero wear on the tooth, and durability.

    How long do veneers last?

The durability of the veneer is always associated with the hygiene care that you will have, just like any other tooth. We only work with porcelain veneers, the most durable material in the market, which allows us to have results for decades.

They don't need any special care. With proper daily hygiene (brushing and flossing) and regular visits to the dentist (twice a year), they last as long as your teeth without any change in color, shape, or position.

Do I need special care with wine, tea, or other more pigmented foods?

No. Porcelain veneers do not change color. All you need to do is your usual oral hygiene and visit our Clinic twice a year.

I need to have a veneer placed. How will it match my other teeth?

The final result of the placement of dental veneers in our Clinic is always natural and in harmony with the smile, which is analyzed as a whole.

Before the veneer is produced in the laboratory, we will understand your expectations and study your smile in detail, using X-rays, molds, and state-of-the-art technology.

In a second moment, when the veneer is already produced, we test it on the patient's smile, even before it's fixed, with a temporary glue in the office. If it doesn't meet expectations, we mark the points where it needs to be adjusted, and it goes back to the lab before it's permanently applied.

Can I place more than one veneer at the same time?

Yes. We can place only one veneer, but also 4, 6, or 8. It all depends on the initial diagnosis made at the Evaluation Appointment.

I want to move forward! Do you have payment facilities?

Yes, we have payment facilities directly with the Clinic. If you have any questions or need more information, please contact us through WhatsApp or telephone.
